Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms of service apply to the use of the web application and mobile app events (hereinafter “Service”). By registering or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Description of Services

The Service enables creating and managing events with features such as RSVP, bring lists, wish list, task list, photo album, message board, carpooling, expense splitting, and paid ticket sales. Organizers may charge admission for their events using Stripe Connect; payment processing is handled by Stripe. The first published event is free; each additional one requires a paid event credit. Alternatively, a one-time Lifetime access unlocks unlimited events. There are no subscriptions. In the native mobile app, event credits and Lifetime are purchased via in-app purchase. I provide the Service without guarantee of availability.

3. User Obligations

Users agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, not to publish offensive or illegal content, and to keep their login credentials confidential.

4. User Content

Users retain the rights to their content (text, photos, etc.). By uploading, you grant me the right to display and process this content within the Service. You can delete your content at any time.

5. Payment handling for ticket sales

For paid events, the ticket contract is between the organizer and the guest, not with me. I provide the platform and the technical handling via Stripe Connect. The organizer receives the full ticket price; the revenue is settled through their own Stripe account and paid out from there. I keep a platform fee from every payment, currently 5 percent with Lifetime access and 10 percent otherwise. The organizer is responsible for running the event, for cancellations and for refunds. If they cancel an event, ticket payments made through Stripe are refunded automatically. Payments through a PayPal link or any external HTTPS payment or pool link take place outside the Service; the external link may have a custom label. Guests who open one continue to the linked third party. I cannot track, confirm, or refund payments made there. The organizer is responsible for the link, the external payment process, and any required refunds. The organizer is also responsible for the tax treatment of their revenue.

6. Liability

I am not liable for the availability of the Service, loss of data due to technical disruptions, or content created by users. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

7. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to change these terms at any time. I will notify registered users by email of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Applicable Law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, my place of residence.
