Getting Started

Create an Event

To create an event, click "New Event" on your dashboard. The wizard asks questions one at a time. Answer each one, move to the next, and at the end you see a summary with jump links to every answer. The six steps are:

  1. What — Title, description and cover image of your event.
  2. When — Date and time, optional date poll, optional recurring event (training, regulars table).
  3. Where — Location, online, or let guests vote on the venue.
  4. Who — Access (link, PIN, invitation), guest-info toggles (allergies, parent phone, pickup time for kids events), and your own companions.
  5. Modules — Bring list, gift list, tasks, photos, comments, expenses, carpooling, time slots. Enable only what you need.
  6. Advanced — Response deadline, PIN, ticket sales, language, save event as a template.

The wizard automatically saves your progress — you can stop at any time, continue later, or jump directly from the summary to any answer.

Share Your Event

After publishing, you can share your event in several ways:

  • Copy link — Share the event link directly via WhatsApp, email, or any messenger.
  • QR code — Under "QR Code" in event management, download a QR code as SVG or PNG. Perfect for invitation cards or posters.
  • Email invitation — For closed events, send targeted email invitations through "Manage Guests."

Event Settings

Under "Manage Event" you can change your event settings at any time:

  • Enable or disable modules
  • Edit date, location, and description
  • Change cover image or color theme
  • Modify access mode and PIN
  • Cancel, archive, or delete the event

Drafts can be edited without notifying guests. For published events, guests are notified about significant changes.

Duplicate an Event

You can duplicate any of your events to use it as a template for a new one. All settings are copied and the date is automatically moved forward by one week.

Your Own Templates

Save any of your events as your own template: in the wizard's last step, "Advanced," turn on "Remember as template" and give it a name (e.g. "Monthly team meeting").

The next time you create an event, the wizard's first step, "What," shows your saved templates as selectable chips. Picking one applies the template's settings — enabled modules, access, cover image, audience, recurrence, and more. Title and description are only filled in if you haven't typed anything there yet. Bring-list or task-list content is not copied, only settings.

For a one-off "just like last time," "Duplicate event" above is often enough — it additionally carries over the date (moved forward by one week).
