Create a Group

A group is the container for events with the same people (friend circle, family, club). The four-step wizard covers: What (name, description, cover image), Where (fixed address, online, or decided per event), Who (access and optional capacity), and Advanced (PIN, language). Anything time-related happens at event level: for a club you create a recurring event inside the group; for a friend circle you create individual events as needed.


Manage Members

Inviting:

  • By email — Members receive an invitation link.
  • Search for existing users and add them directly.

Roles:

  • Admin — Full management rights.
  • Member — Attends events and (if allowed) creates events in the group.

Join modes:

  • Closed — Invitation only.
  • Via link with approval — Interested people request membership; admins approve.
  • Via link without approval — Instant access through the group link.

Events in a group

Every event in a group inherits the default location (if set) but can override it per event. Recurring events (training, regulars table) are created as regular events with a frequency. One-off events (summer party, outing) are created individually.


Group Calendar

Groups offer a calendar view of all upcoming and past sessions. You can subscribe to the calendar as an ICS file to see it in your calendar app.
